What We Believe

1. We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, from God to mankind to use as a guide for faith, lifestyle and understanding. 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21

2. We believe that there is one God which exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit which are eternal. John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7

3. We believe that man was created in the image of God and by his own will, man fell and his only redemption is in and through a relationship with His son, Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5

4 . We believe that we are saved by the grace of God which brings salvation. It is not a result of what we do, but by believing that Jesus Christ was crucified, died, was buried and resurrected - then we can spend eternity with God. Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 5:1; Romans 3:24

5. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit; that it is a gift from God and it is what empowers the believer to develop the character of Christ. Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4

6. We believe in Water Baptism as a way for believers to identify with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Matthew 3:13-17

7. We believe in Spiritual Gifts given by God that are used to strengthen God’s people as well as prove the existence of God. We believe the Gifts of the Spirit are still active today. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10

8. We believe that divine healing in our physical body, our mind, emotions and spirit is still alive and active in the Body of Christ today, and through Jesus, our bodies, minds, spirits and souls can be made whole. Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1

9 . We believe that Jesus will return and take all of His people who have believed in Him to heaven to live for eternity. Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28
